Horse Park

We had a fun time at the "Horse Park" in Lake Forest with cousins Sophia and Olivia and their friends Grayson and Reese. The stables are located next to a fun park and you are allowed to walk around and pet the horses and even feed some. There are probably 100 horses boarded at this location. Bridget was a little scared of some of the big horses, but cousin Livie was the most excited! We had so much fun, played at the park after, had lunch and cupcakes.

Painting...

We spent part of the day at a friend's house where Bridget painted...the girls decided to take off their clothes as paint started to spread over their bodies. My friend does photography and took a couple quick photos of the girls and they are so darn cute so I had to share. Bridget is very into painting, coloring and drawing these days so she was having a great time!

Vegas Baby!

So our camera stopped working after the first night, so sad. I missed pics of Jen's wedding and the fun weekend we had. Luckily Grammy and Grampy got some pics and once I download their pics I will add more. (Technology doesn't like us right now, both digital cameras are broken, laptop died and our AC went out, we can't afford to fix it all...but I need a camera!!! I miss it already.) Anyways, we went to Vegas for a 4-day 4th of July weekend and had a blast! We stayed at THE Hotel at Mandalay Bay and had a 750sf suite for under $150 a night (thanks to Jen's wedding room block), so with my parents room and ours adjoined we had 1,500 sf and 4 bathrooms...bigger than our house. Bridget loved it. She would run from one room to the other. We were also on the 34th floor and had some great views on the mountains (not a strip view).

Since I had never been to Vegas with a kid I wasn't sure what to expect, but it worked out awesome. Bridget loved the pools and there is so much to do, see and EAT. It wasn't too hot either. So here are a few pics that I managed to capture on Friday, the day we arrived.

Happy 4th, poolside. We spent the 4th at the pool from 9am-4:30pm in our cabana. It was so fun. Bridget loved the wave pool and learned to ride the waves.

Sophia and Bridget's Day

I took Sophia and Bridget out for the day, it was our way to celebrate with Sophia her kindergarten graduation. We spent most of the day at the beach even though the sun didn't come out until 1:00. Bridget and Sophia played in the sand, buried eachother and Sophia taught Bridget how to collect seashells. Bridget is quite obsessed with Sophia and is known for saying her name over and over "Phia" she calls her and carrying her photo around the house when she can't see her. So this was just of a big day to Bridget as it was to Sophia.

They ended the day in our garden. They were so excited to pick tomatoes and zucchini and Sophia stayed for dinner, homemade Mac-n-cheese topped with the tomatoes she picked and vanilla ice cream topped with the apricots she picked. Cousins are the best! We love you Sophs!

Fathers Day Recap

I have finally got around to posting some pics from Father's Day! We headed to Oxnard for the weekend to spend time with Cody's family. The weekend started with a long swim session in the spa and some playing around in the backyard.
