Grammy visits in October

Cody was traveling in October so Grammy hopped a plane and came out to see us girls for 5 days! We had so much fun enjoying the Fall weather and getting ready for Halloween. We spent time sewing, getting projects ready for Clara's birthday party, sight seeing and hanging out making some yummy food (Butternut squash soup, pumpkin donuts and beer bread). We took the girls to Gardner Village in Salt Lake where they have a Witch Hunt, it was SO crowded, but we still had a great time.

B is for Ballerina

A typical morning getting ready for gymnastics. We decided to dress B as a ballerina for class. She added the pink tutu to the outfit herself! She is adorable.

Another Day at the Zoo

Another day at Hogle Zoo...so fun every time we go. It was really empty and starting to get chilly and they had started to bring some animals inside for winter. Such a different experience than So Cal. The girls love the elephants, who are always playful and we take our usual carousel and train ride. The zoo also has a fun playground that we spent some time at this trip. We are looking forward to visiting again soon!

Breakfast

I really enjoy breakfast in our house in Park City. We have a kitchen with a nook so the girls can sit while I cook or help out and sample along the way. One morning we tried these baked pumpkin donut holes. They were so yummy and we couldn't stop eating them. It was a chilly fall morning and we sat and ate these and enjoyed the view from our window.

Fall Drive with my Girls!

Cody was in China in October and we wanted to see the fall color one last time before it disappeared. I am so glad we went, because this was the last weekend. We drove Guardsman pass up through Deer Valley and back to Midway. We stopped to take a couple photos and then headed to Midway to this cute little pizza place. We shared pizza, meatballs and an ice cream sundae. It was such a great day with my girls!

Sunday morning

Just a few pics of the girls on Sunday morning before we went to church. I thought they looked so cute. We found a great church here in Park City where we go to church and I go to MOPS. Feel very blessed to have found a church home so quickly.

Tea Party

In mid October we were invited to a Tea Party at a cute little children's shop in Park City called Baby Nini. OF COURSE we want to go! Tea, sweets, dress-up and friends. Sounds like a perfect day. The girls dressed up, Bridget in Ariel attire, of course! We went with our sweet new friends and neighbors Melissa and JJ. It was a great day, the girls enjoyed the store and the food and it was also fun to shop.

Wheeler Farm at Halloween

We took the girls back to Wheeler Farm in Salt Lake for Halloween. Cody was about to leave for China and we wanted to do something festive. It ended up being a really cold day, but we had fun in the hay maze, picking pumpkins and riding the tractor. We also had an awesome lunch at Porcupine Pub at the base of Cottonwood Canyon, yum! I would never want to live in Salt Lake, but its fun to explore and there is a lot of "big city" stuff to do if we need to escape our small town.
