Thanksgiving: Psalm 100
Psalm 100
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

This is one bible verse I vividly remember memorizing at Church when I was a little girl. I am so thankful for the many blessings the Lord has given me this year. A beautiful baby girl who arrived in January, an amazing husband who is an even more amazing Father, supportive and loving Family and Friends, Health, our jobs, our home and the list goes on.
Here is our little Turkey we are so THANKFUL for!

Oak Glen Weekend
We headed to Oak Glen this past weekend with our families. The weather was nice and cool in the morning but quickly heated up. We started at Snowline Orchard to do some apple picking, but there weren't any apples for us to pick, so we sampled apples, cider and fresh mini donuts and headed down the road to Riley Farms. We took a hay ride, had an awesome BBQ lunch, I got stung by a wasp (bummer) and then we headed up the hill to pick pumpkins. Between all of us we filled an entire wheel barrow, probably 10 pumpkins of all different varities. We ended the day in the village where Cousin Connor and Bridget rode the train. It was a full day and so much fun. Surprisingly Bridget was wide awake the car ride home, "hamming it up" for Grammy and I in the back seat.

Dump, Toss, Chuck...whatever you call it!
This is Bridget's favorite game right now. I call it the "Dump and Fill" game when we are playing, but it has now progressed from playing to involve all daily activities. She loves to fill up her toy buckets and empty them out, chuck and toss anything and everything off of her highchair (including food and water), throw any toy I give her while driving in her car seat and the list goes on. This is her recent damage...only took about 2 minutes for this to happen.

Exhausted from dumping everything.
Dino Park with Friends
We started a new Mom's group through Compass Church in Aliso Viejo on Friday's (Thanks to Sarah F). The first day was a park day at Dinosaur Park. Bridget had fun hanging out with Amelia, Cora, Owen and Ethan while baby Wyatt slept. Mommy had fun hanging out with her friends Natalie, Sara and Sarah. We are looking foward to our Fridays!

Adding Fall color to the Yard
We decided to update our front planter this weekend. We have the most annoying crows that have repeatedly ripped out one of our plants digging for worms. So it was time to get rid of it and put something new in its place. We opted for FALL color and it was a good decision. Cody and I weeded the yard and installed the new plants and Bridget sat on her blanket and had a great time watching us do all the work!

Pumpkin Pancakes
I made Pumpkin Pancakes this morning...now that it is Fall. I will find any excuse to make pumpkin anything. Bridget was served up first and she gobbled up every last bite. This was her first plate of pancakes and I served it with applesauce as well. Welcome Fall!Quick Pumpkin Pancakes:
2 cups Buttermilk Pancake Mix - dry
1 1/2 cups water
1/3 - 1/2 cup canned Pumpkin
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Here is a few pics of Bridget enjoying them

Goodbye Summer...Hello Fall!
Bridget's favorite time of day...BATH TIME!
Bridget loves the bath! She can be cranky and the second she hears the water running her whole world turns around.
Bridget Stands Up!
Bridget turned 8 months old over the weekend! I set her in her crib this morning and next thing I know she is standing up holding on to me. Cody just lowered her crib last weekend in case she decided to try and stand, good thing! This video also displays her new laugh. Gosh we love her!

Turning 30!
I turned 30 over the weekend, it was a great time out on the town. So many laughs, lots of great food and surrounded by friends and family. My parents made brunch on Sunday morning that was amazing (as usual) and homemade bloody mary's. Hitting the big 30 has been fun. I looked forward to turning 16 and 21, but never really thought about 30. I guess I never really knew what to expect 30 to be like and its more than I ever could have imagined.
As Time McGraw says "I think Ill take a moment, celebrate my age, The ending of an era and the turning of a page, Now its time to focus in on where I go from here, Lord have mercy on my next thirty years"
