It's Fall: Historic Apple Picking

We took the girls apple picking the last weekend of September. We heard about this cool old apple orchard called Huber Grove, but didn't know what to expect. We had a great time and this will for sure became an annual family outing. After years of bugging Cody to go, this is a place we both really enjoyed and the girls too.  These are the times I really apprectiate living in a smaller popualtion. In So Cal this place would have been so crowded. It was nice to enjoy the day and take in Fall.  Here is a history link about the place: http://www.utahheritagefoundation.com/saving-places/heritage-awards/2001ha/451-hubergroveha

We hiked to the grove from the Nature Center, a beautiful 1 mile hike

Kari, the pictures are beautiful. I can never get enough of the fall beauty. Such amazing color in the leaves. I have really appreciated that this fall since I was able to see a bit of "fall" while driving from North Carolina to Mississippi recently. You really live in a beautiful place and I'm so glad you are getting to have this experience, this place, and time in your life. Something you'll never forget.

Thanks Judy! I agree totally, I am glad I took this leap of faith. I hope you had a great trip! I want to go to the South so bad! I have always wanted to.
