Sweet Clara at her cardiologist appt on our trip back to California at the end of April.It was heartbreaking the day I took Clara in for a reflux check and the Dr. looked at me and said Clara has a heart murmur, please make an appt with the cardiologist this week. I wanted to say no, I came in for you to check her reflux, not to find this!!! But God has a plan and it was meant for us to find out that day about Clara's sweet little heart. Since then we have seen the cardiologist twice and feel very blessed to have had amazing doctors. Clara has pulmonary stenosis and also has a small hole in between the two chambers of her heart. Both have not progressed any worse, but also haven't corrrected themselves, so by this age she will most likely live with her heart defects for the rest of her life.
Clara is amazing! You would never think this sweet and oh so strong baby had any heart defects at all. She has the sweetest smile, the cutest laugh, the strongest grip, she can sit by herself, push her legs to a standing position and just started to crawl. She likes to hang upside down, play with Bridget and she doesn't miss a thing! We love you Clara-belle! xoxo
