A Day in San Juan

We spent last Sunday in San Juan Capistrano. After only making it 30 minutes through church (Bridget having a hard time in the nursery right now) we started our Sunday in San Juan a little sooner. We headed to the new park in the Los Rios district where we played, rode the saddle and climbed rocks. Then we headed to Zoomars Petting Zoo. We fed lettuce to the bunnies, carrots to the cows and then the goats attacked us and finished everything! So Bridget was then ready to ride her first pony and she LOVED it! I had her saying "yee-haw" and "giddy-up". After the zoo we took a nice walk to a locals Mexican restaurant and enjoyed some real food, it was SO good, we are going back. We ended the day at the San Juan Mission and fell in love. There was so much history and beauty to see that we ended up buying year passes. Its really a jewel within Orange County and we look forward to going back again and again.

Mothers Day

We spent Mother's Day at Irvine Park! We had so much fun and found a great spot amongst the many people who had the same idea as us. It was almost like camping. We set up a great spot, BBQed some hot dogs, had fresh strawberry lemonade and cheesecake, it was perfect. We took a nice walk to the playground and then ended at the zoo. The girls all got to brush the goats and see the bears being fed. I couldn't have picked a better way to spend my day.

Celebrating Birthdays!

We celebrated Jeff and April's birthday last week! Amanda made us tacos, "Taco Temple" style and they were so good and April made a cake (see below). It was a fun night at the Anderson House!

The Birthday Boy and Girl!

Cody's 1/2 Marathon

Cody did it!!! He ran his 1/2 marathon this past weekend and did awesome! We didn't make it to the start (he left at 5:15am) but Bridget and I watched him cross the finish line. It was so exciting and he did it in 1hr48min! He has been training so hard the past 4+ months! Awesome job Cody/Daddy, we are so proud of you and we love you!!!

Bridget got this car for Christmas from Mimi and Papa, but as you know she is on the smaller side so we have saved it in the attic until two weekends ago. She was taking a long afternoon nap so we pulled out the car, Cody put it together and she hasn't got out of it since!
