A few of Bridget's favorite things!

Bridget is an amazing daughter and sister. She is constantly surprising us with so many things. I thought I would post some of her favorite things as she is almost 2 1/2 years old.

She loves her sister and being a sister. Her and Clara have so much fun together, I love watching them interact. Clara lights up when Bridget enters a room and Bridge loves having a companion.

Bridget LOVES to read! One of her favorite things to do. If I sat and read to her all day everyday she would be so happy. She is really into memorizing books right now and likes to read them to herself, to Cody and I or Clara. She loves Fancy Nancy and learning new words. Her vocabulary is expanding daily.

She loves Gymnastics. I thought she might when I enrolled her, but didn't realize just how much. If they added a dance part to the class she would be even more in love with it. She loves having a coach and is learning tumbling, balancing, jumping, stretching, rings, bars, etc. She is a great listener and the most active participant in her class.

She loves to dance. If she hears a beat, she stops what she is doing and shakes her hips. She has some really good rhythm and I have been stopped by a couple people who compliment her dancing ability. Its pretty funny. She loves to do hula and bounce to the beat.

The Little Mermaid. Her favorite thing right now. She loves the movie, is obsessed with the soundtrack and loves talking about Ariel. Its pretty cute to see her get so excited. We got her an Ariel doll at a garage sale and she was so happy.

She loves to cook. She helps me in the kitchen everyday with baking or dinner. Half the time I think she just wants a bite of what I am cooking, but I love her company and enthusiasm to cook. She is a great eater and pretty much eats or at least tries everything I make.

Hike above our House

On Cody's birthday we took our first hike on the trail above our house. The trail is called Glenwild. Its a really cool area where most people go to Mtn Bike and there are amazing multi-million dollar houses, a golf course and an amazing view of Park City.

Starting the hike, this trail starts in our housing community.

View of our house from trail, its the one right on the middle of the photo.

Heading back down, the girls fell asleep.

A Day out with Thomas

Thomas the Train came to Heber, a small town in the valley southeast of Park City. We took Bridget and Clara over Memorial weekend to meet him. They use the Heber Historic Railroad and turn the station into a Thomas the Train Station for the weekend. We rode Thomas, made music, got Tattoo's and Cody and Bridget rode this cute little sidecar.
