Our new Trees!

The weekend before last our trees arrived and Cody planted them. Like Superman he planted them all in one day. Not sure how, cause he had to dig the holes and place them all in the ground alone, but he did it and it looks amazing. We spent most of the day playing in the dirt in the backyard, which Bridget could do everyday.

Beach Day in October

Just one picture, but a cute one. Two weekends ago before this winter-like Fall weather set in the beach was amazing in October, so we got there bright and early at 9am...Cody did his run, Bridget and I did a long walk on the boardwalk and then we played at the beach until her nap time. It was so fun.

San Juan...again

So we love San Juan Capistrano...its 10 minutes away from our house, we have our annual family pass to the Mission, there is an awesome new park in the Los Rios District, Zoomar's petting zoo and so much to check out. So we spent our Anniversary with Bridget in San Juan for the day (before a nice date night of dinner and a movie, thanks Auntie April). We started the day with a long walk, then went to the Mission and explored some new areas, next headed to the Los Rios district and decided to hang out at Zoomar's for a bit. Bridget loves ponies (why she is a cowgirl this Halloween), so she went on a ride with Daddy, played in some corn and then we had lunch on the tracks and saw a train before we headed home.

WOW our pumpkin has grown!

We have been keeping busy with Bridget enjoying Fall, enjoying our new yard and out exploring with her as much as possible before the new bundle of joy arrives! One night last week we stopped by Pumpkin City to take a walk around and enjoy all the pumpkins! We didn't go on any rides or buy any pumpkins, but it was a great way to start out one of my favorite seasons! Also we took Bridget here last year and it's great to compare the photos and how much she has changed in a year.

Play Date with Macey

We have had some fun enjoying play dates now that I am on maternity leave!!! One of our favorite things to do it hang out with Michelle and Macey, our two best friends! Michelle and I decided to check out the new Citrus Park in Tustin and its pretty cool. The girls had so much fun playing together and then we had a yummy lunch at Chick-Fil-A...yum!!!

First rain of Fall

It actually felt like Fall for a couple days, one of which brought the first rain of the season. We dressed Bridget warm and let her play in the backyard in the dirt...until it started to pour and we all ran for cover under the patio umbrella. We sat in the rain for a while and then escaped to our warm dry house. Happy Fall!

Bridget's Backpack

Bridget is starting to enjoy some BIG girl things these days. One of them is having her wear this backpack instead of taking a diaper bag to church. Also she really doesn't like going to nursery, not sure why, cause she loves to play and loves other kids, but she HATES when I leave. So I thought this would help distract her as well. She still cried, I hated leaving her, but she made it through one of the two weeks of Mops and Biblestudy. We will see how tomorrow goes...either way the pics are cute so I had to post.

We had a fun day at Grammy and Grampy's celebrating GG! It was her birthday and we had a big family dinner. Amazing food as usual and lots of fun watching all the kids play together! We love you GG!
